Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Forge Developer to design, build, deploy, and support custom applications and integrations within the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders and Atlassian administrators to extend platform capabilities through Forge applications, APIs, automation, and integrations. The role includes the development and support of existing and future Forge applications, Jira Studio solutions, and custom enhancements across Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Jira Product Discovery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance secure, scalable applications using Atlassian Forge.
Build custom Jira and Confluence functionality where native capabilities do not meet business requirements.
Develop custom UI modules, workflow extensions, business logic, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Develop integrations with SAP, Azure Active Directory, SQL databases, REST APIs, and third-party platforms.
Implement secure data exchange, webhooks, event-driven integrations, and API-based solutions.
Enhance Jira Service Management through custom request intake, dynamic forms, approval workflows, validation logic, and customer portal solutions.
Develop and maintain Jira Studio applications and manage the application lifecycle.
Troubleshoot application issues, perform performance optimization, and support deployments and releases.
Maintain technical documentation and provide ongoing application support.
Follow Atlassian development standards, secure coding practices, CI/CD processes, code review, and quality assurance practices.

Requirements

3+ years of Atlassian Forge development experience.
Hands-on experience developing solutions for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and preferably Jira Product Discovery.
Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Atlassian APIs, and Jira Expressions.
Hands-on experience with the Atlassian Forge Framework.
Experience with API integrations, OAuth authentication, Azure AD integration, SQL connectivity, and webhooks.
Understanding of cloud-native application development, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Experience managing application deployments across multiple environments.
Knowledge of Atlassian Connect is preferred.
Experience with Jira Automation and enterprise Jira implementations is preferred.
Experience with SAP integrations, DevOps practices, Agile environments, React, or Atlassian Marketplace app development is an advantage.
Atlassian or Forge-related certifications are preferred.
Azure Fundamentals and JavaScript/TypeScript certifications are a plus.
Maintain records of the conversations with the customer and analyze the data.
Handling customer queries on Chat and E-mails.
