Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Veeam Backup Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of backup systems, primarily using Veeam Backup & Replication. This role ensures the integrity, availability, and security of all data backed up across the enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

3–5 years of experience in backup administration, preferably with Veeam.

Experience implementing and managing data protection and recovery strategies.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve backup-related issues efficiently.

Understanding of storage systems, capacity planning, and retention policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backup and disaster recovery using Veeam Backup & Replication (Enterprise-level environments preferred).
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Knowledge of storage systems (NAS, SAN) and networking basics related to data transfer and backup optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Maintain records of the conversations with the customer and analyze the data.
  • Handling customer queries on Chat and E-mails.
